Kenneth's StudioVeni, vidi, vici! 5/7/2007 Welcome to sucks!Another 30 days of work drives me crazy. Worse will be, they consecutive. Long-time away from home, I suddenly found the importance to take a break.
These days made me experience an old saying – dreams are pretty, but the world comes reversed, which makes distance from the dreams – a distance long enough to hold back man’s braveness. Maybe I gotta get real, maybe I should die imagination – both seem not a best way to make me easy. I long for a vacation to relax the tense nerve.
Planning was completed, packs were geared-up, I’m ready to go. But God takes things from men when they get used to it. The OT-news tries to help me understand what vacation is – vacation is kind of escapism, where you realize even dreaming is a dream.
What can I do? Shit happens! Welcome to sucks, Man!
P.S. Still was back to Canton for 3 days - that makes me memorize one famous saying, "Life sucks, but u are gonna love it!" 4/10/2006 Acknowledgements (or Thank God I Finally Finished My Paper!) After finishing the 1st edition of my bachelor paper, I’d like to take this opportunity to extend my indebtedness and gratitude to those supporting me to complete this tough task. Regarding internet as a public concourse, I’d also like to use anonyms instead of the real names for the sake of privacy.
First of all, I am extremely grateful to Mr. Gdufs and Ms. Seib, for their enlightening. They have been witnessing and guiding in my everyday struggle I have experienced during these years. Without them, I can never imagine how hard the job would be to bullshit within 31,932 letters, or rather, 6,600 words, in English especially! I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to Ms. Library who assisted me with her wondrously limited resources to obtain invaluable data for my thesis. It is her generous help that made me wonder if her office really worth .2 billion RMB. Many other people gave their hands to assist me during this long journey in the dark. For instance, Mr. Google and Ms. PC never failed to remind me to take a timely rest during a hard work. From time to time, they hanged down to warn me with the importance of keeping the work-life balance. Even after being reseted, they showed me nothing but a dead-end. An other sort of health-advocates is my room-mates, they saw noisy or dirty movies, played guitars or sang F-songs, drove the pig into market and I am highly entertained by and appreciated with all of their efforts. It is simply impossible to acknowledge all the help I have got from my surrounding in detail. All their kindness and help will imprint on my mind forever. Because during composing this paper, I feel I’ve been fucked million times a day—and what’s worse, I felt good! 4/5/2006 A Day to Remember...WHAT THE HELL IS LOMO? Today would be a day to remember, for I am going to buy a camera, a dream one—LOMO. Hesitation makes coward, and I think I was. That’s why LOMO have become my dream so long but never come true. Sometimes, I have to admire the French people—even though they wanna be distinguished, they share something in common, that’s art-loving, with all their hearts, with utter purity. I once mentioned that to Athena; she just gave me a smile in return, seeming she didn’t understand completely, but I do really mean it. As a trend of “just shooting”, a fashionably casual vision, a style, an art, a sort of philosophy, in a word, a kind of feeling-free. This time when I am home, I talked about my childhood with my parents. Such conversation just simply started—I cannot even memorize the starting points. Mama said that I was a timid guy when I was young, and she said if I hit my childhood album, I would totally agree with her. She’s right! I would! And if you guys are lucky enough to look at those worm-eaten pictures, you would, too, because what you would see is a little boy seldom smiled, esp. in front of the cameras. Consequences laid in my sub-consciousness; even today I can see their tails. The timid little boy was scared with standing before the lens for he thought snapping seemed formal; he took it dead serious, no smiles, never mention feeling-free… Before Buying LOMO At KFC I bought it! A LOMO Holga Flash Camera! It’s not a decent time to write blog but to “just shoot”. See ya, guys… After Buying LOMO 4/2/2006 Translation (2)法语:je t'aime,je t'adore

It’s drizzling outside the window, and it seems to have been drizzling for ages. Today’s not a good day, I mean, simply the weather. Spending the whole morning surfing on net, I found out 16 versions of one song. That sounds geeky, somehow—something formally called sense of reminiscence prefers this kind of weather—it would slip into your heart without any omens. This is not the first time I listen to this song but the first time I do so alone. Someone said it’s like the Jasmine Flower in China and they call it the French Version. I don’t know if they are true—maybe it can’t be judged simply by “true or false”, like lots of things else’s—the only thing I know is this song can calm me down, while the Jasmine Flower can’t, esp. Theo’s version—I know you would read this sooner or latter, just try to mellow out, guy. You are a music buff, but just no more singing in dorm, ok? Your singing is… Yikes! La Vie En Rose! That song is La Vie En Rose. I began to know it a year ago and to love it after catching the Jeux d’Enfants. Hell knows this song in France wasn’t welcomed, for Edith Piaf sang it for Germen officials during WWII. Hard to image when such beautiful melody was on, the French audience hailed, “Get the hook!” But a song has its soul, which would wash out the stains. That’s why I can now find out its 16 versions in Baidu. Googled La Vie En Rose, a guy dire, there would be 61 versions of this song. I can’t figure out if he made a slip of his pen, but at least in the 16 versions I found, I can see its vitality. Out of logic? C’m on! Get with the program! Would you like some Vodka rocks? It’ll do the trick!
3/29/2006 Wisdom from the HumorMoney is not everything. There’s MasterCard & Visa. One should love animals. They are so tasty. Hard work never killed anybody, but why take the risk? Work fascinates me—I can look at it for hours! God made relatives; Thank God we can choose our friends. When two's company, three's the result! A dress is like a barbed fence. It protects the premises without restricting the view. The more you learn, the more you know, the more you know, and the more you forget. The more you forget, the less you know. So why bother to learn. 3/28/2006 TranslationPlease translate the following sentences into English, 人之初, At the beginning of life, 11/8/2005 我的98广交会生活序章 2005年10月30日是一个让我难以忘怀的日子,这一天让我真切地感受到了从“苦尽甘来”到“苦海无边”的跌宕。 篇——“Where am I?” 我们就没辙了,只能说:“Trust me, this map is misleading”了事。 |
